AC/DC Fans In Regina Looking To Point The Finger

April 21, 2009

Brendan Wagner of News Talk 980 reports that some rock fans are still fuming over the sale of tickets for AC/DC's August 24, 2009 concert at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. A quick sellout this past weekend combined with online logjams and greedy ticket scalpers left many people out of luck.

But where to place the blame remains unclear.

"There are going to be disappointments regardless of what system you use," says Ken Wood, the Executive Director of Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.

He says CUC is essentially Ticketmaster in this province, in that they "manifest" events and provide tickets based on instructions from the artists and promoters.
